reef fish

Adriana is guest researcher in the Biodiversity Hotspot group. She works on macroecological and macroevolutionary patterns related to biodiversity, across a range of systems and taxa, including tropical reefs and reef fishes. She is particularly interested in variation in range size across species and taxa (incl. birds, mammals, fish, amphibians, and plants) and its drivers, and evaluates impacts of species dispersal abilities and evolutionary ages on range sizes and, ultimately, their extinction risks.
