Put together a tapir skeleton like a puzzle, share a collection of stones, shells or seeds and use a microscope to discover how beautiful the structure of a feather is. You will learn about the work we do at Naturalis by doing it yourself. Inspired by a visit to our Life gallery, you will assemble real objects from nature to make your own exhibition. There is even a gift you can take home: the start of your very own nature collection.

Course of the programat the museum
The program consists of three parts. The schedule given below is an indication only.
0-45 minutes: workshop Present
The pupils are given a brief introduction to the kinds of work people do at Naturalis. Next, the pupils divide into small groups to study real-life objects in a carousel.
45-70 minutes: Life gallery
In their small groups, the pupils will set out to explore the Life gallery. The education assistant will give them a new scavenger hunt card once they find the object from the previous one. The adults supervising the small groups will be given the scavenger hunt cards (sometimes with the answer) and will guide the pupils when needed.
70-90 minutes: workshop Present
Afterwards, the pupils can try their hand at putting together and presenting their own exhibitions. They will then receive a small gift to take home.
