With its big windows facing onto the street, this space acts as a shop window for Naturalis. This is where we show what we do as a research institute. LiveScience is available in the evenings for events and can accommodate up to 75 people.

In LiveScience you'll meet our researchers and collection managers, and you can see and experience what their work is all about. With such big windows, this ground floor space gets a lot of natural light. The staging is surrounded by our natural history collection. Huge display cases house the genetically engineered Herman the Bull, a giant sunfish, the wolf and gems from Dutch nature, to name but a few. A setting which is sure to make an impression.
