Elaine is the program manager for ARISE, building the largest research infrastructure around species identification and biodiversity monitoring innovation in the Netherlands.
As program manager she is responsible for the strategy, daily operations, communication and financial health. She works closely with the 5 teams within ARISE to ensure focus and collaboration within and between teams, while also connecting ARISE to the larger community of researchers and organizations.
Elaine obtained her PhD in Ecological Sciences in 2013 at the VU University of Amsterdam after which she gained experience in digital product management based on machine learning and AI algorithms.
