With a passion for biodiversity and a background in training & development, project management and international cooperation, I work at Naturalis to contribute to the conservation of our natural habitat.
As coordinator of the Dutch Biodiversity Programme, I work on various projects, including the updating and future-proofing of the Dutch species register. I also coordinate the preparation of a new annual report on the state of biodiversity in the Netherlands.
In addition to this, I am working with international experts to strengthen the knowledge of pollinators in Europe. We do this through a training program and the online learning platform PollinatorAcademy.eu, where we bring together information and tools for pollinator identification.
