There's a lot of buzz about wolves in the Netherlands. Do you want to really get to know the wolf? Don't miss this in-depth theme day. On Sunday, November 1, this animal will take center stage at our event.
Who, what,where?
All day long in the LiveScience gallery, you can witness up close how the wolf that was shot last year on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug - popularly known as "Bram" - is being taxidermied. During the taxidermy process, experts will explain everything about the wolf's behavior as a pack animal, and there will be plenty of time for questions.
We've also thought of our youngest nature explorers: for our youngest visitors, there will be storytime sessions, among other activities.
If there is high demand, we will operate on a 'first come, first served' basis in the LiveScience hall.
Disclaimer: As a museum and knowledge institute, Naturalis shares knowledge about nature. The wolf (and Bram the wolf in particular) evokes a range of emotions and reactions in the Netherlands. During this themed day focusing on the wolf, there may therefore be a public demonstration at the museum.
